WOYWW 196

It’s that day again I can’t believe another week has passed already, which means its woyww hosted by the leader Julia over at the StampingGround. Why don’t you hop over and even better join the addictive weekly gathering and sharing that is WOYWW (what’s on your workdesk Wednesday) Again I’m working late every evening this week then off on Friday to the Arctic Circle for a few days…(I’m getting excited now about it).I didn't realise that it was mothers day on Sunday until I had a conversation with my daughter at the weekend so a quick change of direction from messing about making cards just for fun to making Mothers day cards!, I’ve nearly finished one and working on another the almost finished one is for a special friend who is very dear to both hubby and I, We always get her a card at mother’s day; not a mothers day card as such but one that reflects how much she means to us.
Current card
So lots of flowers and a definite bright and sunny aspect to this weeks crafting; as well as the bits and pieces from last week which I have still to create cards with!...Off now and  I hope to get to visit everyone over the next couple of days.I hope you have a great week and thanks for visitingHugs…Andrea x

Spring ...Almost !

Good afternoon and a warm welcome to my  new followers it’s great to be able to share with so many talented people and enjoy their amazing blogs. I’m always thrilled when I have a new follower come along and I hope they enjoy in sharing my crafting journey. This week’s card is another Tilda with a bright and bold theme. The plan was to finish and post during the week as it was based around a challenge of using lime green and pink; but it took me to long to finish and I’ve missed the challenge deadline! I have enjoyed making it though and it’s not for anyone or reason in particular other than pleasure, although had I realised it was mothers day next week I would have been planning for that instead …oops! I will need to be a bit organised  if want to get my mothers day card posted on time.so I  know what I will be doing next week !. It's been good this week to see some  sunshine and lighter mornings... spring at last is on the way :-)
Party Tilda

 Close up

I had fun making this card and using bright colours which I know isn't everyone’s cup of tea but is bright and cheerful. I also got to use some new dies that I ordered that came this week from Dies to Die for. It’s the first time I’ve ordered from them and I’m very impressed with their service. The photo below shows my new goodies and a selection of freebie die cut elements that came with my purchase. The purchases came wrapped in coloured tissue paper and included a personal note with the invoice and some freebies tucked inside… what a nice touch and great customer service, I will definitely be ordering from them again, it was like receiving a gift from a friend and made my day. Thanks for visiting and hope you have a great week …hugs Andrea x
