WOYWW 217

Morning and a very happy WOYWW to everyone its good to be back, I've missed keeping up with everyone, sorry I haven't been visiting in the last few weeks; the demands of work and others have been greater than my needs(wants).I haven't posted or spent much time crating or online since I got back from holiday a couple of weeks ago...I was determined I would start to catch up and I did do a quick post Saturday...had high hopes for the weekend but it didn't quite work out as ever ! ...work has been hectic; I just haven't had the time. Hopefully work will settle down again and I can get my familiar routine back...I like routine and order ...which makes crafting interesting!..I do think I spend more time cleaning my craft room than using it!
Tidy up required

magazine pile

As you can see from my desk lots to sort and not a lot going on.The photo's where taken last night and hasn't changed since the weekend ...some bits are waiting to progress into a card...I'm having difficulty deciding what to use; its always the same I spend so much time trying to decide I get nothing done!...I dont do choice well, it was so much easier when I had less !..there's a  pile of scraps too sort before throwing out what I can't reuse (I don't throw anything away!, I should as I rarely even check my scrap box which is well organised and in fab order...but redundant most of the time)a pile of magazines that need fling/sorting and a few bits and bobs to put away from previous card making. I hope your desk is more exciting...it wont be difficult! Check out the Stamping Ground to see what all the fabulous talented world wide bloggers sharing there desks this week have been up to...its addictive and you may just want to take part yourself. I hope you have a fab week, whatever you are doing. I'm off for visit around and plan to post a card later today too  ...that's the plan for now anyway. Thanks for visiting and I will come see you soon

Back and Raring to Go !

Morning and its good to be back its been well over two weeks since I wrote a post... that's the biggest gap I've had since I started blogging !... I've missed catching up with my favourite bloggers and sites and taking part in my favourite challenges too.Work has been hectic to put it politely! since I got back form holiday ...hopefully now its finally settling down and I can get back to my routines.I have cards to post that I finished months ago and have blogs to read that I haven't visited for weeks. I'm thankfully off work this weekend so plan to get the cleaning, chores and shopping out of the way and spend some time catching up...hopefully some crafty time too.( might be pushing it a bit there!)

Hasn't the weather been fab... its a bit to hot for me.. this week work has been like being inside an oven..I've had a permanent glow!...but for most and those out and about I assume its been bliss and beats our usual summer; my Celtic genes aren't so keen on heat and sunshine and I'm looking forward to the rain showers this afternoon when hopefully I will get the chance to  escape into the craft room...am I odd or what !...So sorry to all those I regularly visit and hopefully I will pop  to see you soon(over the weekend is the plan).

Before my holiday I had a bit of a saturated canary phase this is one of the cards I made...only one more to post after this one...I love colouring the images .. Krista the artist just amazes me with her talent, attention to detail and imagination I love them and would happily have every one!

Close up Jules
Its a very girly, happy bright and sunny card I think and isn't for any particular reason other than to say hello... I've not gone quite so OTT as usual with the die cuts this time and had some fun with heat embossing and glitter too!

I've got to get the shopping done and hopefully will be visiting you over the weekend; have a great weekend whatever you do and thanks for visiting... hugs... Andrea X

WOYWW 214

Morning and all you happy crafters and what a beautiful sunny day it is again here in Cornwall. I'm still on holiday and don't have a desk to share today, but I still wanted to take part in this weeks WOYWW and  to say hi and a happy WOYWW to everyone and share a couple of  photos. Its been a great holiday the weather has been glorious...its been hot and sunny every day and we have lazed on the beach daily since we got here; the accommodation is fab again and as good as last years; we are minutes away from two stunning beaches and 5 minutes from the harbour; its a fabulous location which is why we came back again this year. We haven't left St Ives all week...no sightseeing...no car trips...bliss.The craft bag hasn't been unpacked and doesn't look like it will be either. The week has went so quickly though ...and I cant believe we only have a couple of days left.

The surprise start to the holiday was two nights in the Scarlet Hotel at Mawgan Porth which is between Padstow and Newquay what an amazing place and a beautiful bay the views where spectacular as was the hotel...we had a great time.the outdoor hot tubs where bliss and also looked onto the bay...they are just in view in the photo below(3 tall wood planks bottom right side of photo).I could have happily stayed longer !

St Ives has been bliss we couldn't have asked for a better week...We are back home on Friday and work Monday although I'm not thinking about that yet...its been great just feeling relaxed and unwinding; just what we both needed ... thanks for visiting and I hope you are having a  great week whatever you are up to ...Hugs... It’s a short post today as I’m not actually at home this was taken before we left yesterday. My desk is looking less cluttered than usual and no I haven’t been burgled…I've brought my copics and some stamps in case it rains and or I get some free time on my hands(that’s my excuse.)My desk has been abandoned mid card making, the cute stamp is a free strawberry shortcake digi, it will need to wait till I get back to progress To the side is some magazine freebies that I've not yet put away..Not very exciting I know.!
