Good morning and a very happy WOYWW to everyone, the weekly blog hop where over 100 people worldwide every week get to share our craft rooms-desks-workspaces-floors-dining tables-whatever space we use to get creative in. Go check out the fabulous host Julia at the Stamping Ground to take part...you'll get hooked.
Back from holiday and have had a nice relaxing long weekend too,I only had to work few hours early on Monday morning...we wont say too much about yesterday as the first full day back at work is never good in my experience...so lets leave it there!I even made made good use of the one wet day we had whilst away last week and got loads of stamps coloured for christmas cards...which has given me a kick start into action and now as you can see its christmas in full production.Sorry... I know to some this is so wrong and I shouldn't be doing anything Christmas related when summer isn't finished yet... but it is nearly September and in my defence some people stared in July!

I made two complete cards over the weekend and dug out all my Christmas stash... had a good rummage and did a load more stamping on Monday. Now the plan is to do get some more colouring completed then hopefully make some cards at the weekend. I'm not working late any day this week so should be able to squeeze a few hours in before the weekend...I hope your are getting your creative fix and have had a good week so far. Off now to have a very quick nosey look around some desks before work.will be back later today though for a good look; have a fab week and thanks for dropping in...it is very much appreciated. Hugs...Andrea x
Not had any time off this year but yes I know that first day back feeling... Love your busy desk! Helen 23

Hi Andrea, lovely clean, organised desk you have and great work making inroads with the Christmas cards....been doing this myself. Happy colouring Cheers RobynO#32
ReplyDeleteThat's great that you got a jump start on coloring your Christmas cards already. I might tease that it is too early or you are too motivated but the reality is it is good to get them done. I tried it one July-as Christmas in July is a popular thing-but it was just way too hot to think Christmas. I like the long view of your desk, so many things but nicely organized.
ReplyDeleteThe trouble is, if we don't all start on the Christmas cards now it leads to stress later on in the year. Looks like you are very busy there. Thanks for visiting the bears already
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW! looks like a lot of creativity going on!

I agree with the bears - need to start early so as not to get stressed out - and that's NOT what Christmas is supposed to be about. Well done for all that's started. You'll soon find yourself way ahead of the game.
ReplyDeleteLovely busy desk, lots of activity and some lovely goodies.
Have a great week.

Hello, I am sending this to everyone. Im sorry I am not going to be able to get to all the desk and I have now lost my sheet of paper that I was writing them down on. I don't think my cat is going to make it through the night to even see the vet. She is old just like my dog so I guess they are going to get sick at the same time or so. I just going to copy and paste and sorry to every one that I didn't get to read.. I just cant do it right now. Thank you Roberta 40 and bright blessings to all.
ReplyDeleteWe should all get started on the "C" cards if we don't want a last minute rush. It's good fun to get all the Xmas stuff out again, I usually find things I'd forgotten about. Hugs. Pam#36
ReplyDeleteI agree that the transition back to work after a enjoyable holiday is never easy.......and boy have you been busy with your Christmas Card Prep. I am loving the sweet leaves and berries you are using. I don't think you can ever start early enough....leaving it to the last minute definitely never works for me. Have a great week! Danie #62
ReplyDeleteLooks like you've been busy Andrea, can't wait to see what you create with all of those images.

What a great craft area you have. I'm excited to see your cards as they all come together. They are looking beautiful so far. I admire you, I so wish I was organized and disciplined enough to be getting ready for the Christmas holidays. I'll be scrambling right up to the last minute. Thanks for the visit. (((HUGS)))
