good evening and yes its another Christmas card...today I've went for bling rather than the more traditional cards I've shown in the last few posts. I did plan to post this this morning but didn't get it finished, ironing and chores got in the way!
Christmas is on the way
I have went to town with my die cuts and gold mirror card this time as you can see!...again I've used the lovely silent night papers; the snowflakes are glazed but the camera hasn't picked this up. (well more likely my poor photography skills haven't!) I kept the backdrop quite plain (other than the glitter!) so Tilda would stand out in all the bling surrounding her.The snowflake embossing was a magazine freebie; it's the first time I have used it and I'm pleased with the result (not that you can see much of it!)
Close up Tilda
I've now on my 8th Christmas card and I was also working on a thank you card... that I finished today(two in fact...one extra for a spare!) I've been really very lucky this week with the amount of spare time I've had; and had at hour this afternoon if not a bit more and I may get an hour later tonight after dinner...hopefully!
Unfortunately it won't last though; it will slow down after today as the next few weeks work will be busy and I'm working the next 3 weekend's too; so I don't expect I will achieve as much as I have been doing so far...as I just won't have the time, I should still be on track for making all my Christmas cards, so I'm not to worried ...yet! Well I hope you got your crafty fix over the weekend or enjoyed yourself whatever you've been doing ...off to make the dinner, then hopefuly some more card making. Thank you for taking the time to visit, Off on a little hop myself whilst making dinner!...I do hope you have good week ahead...hugs...Andrea X
