Happy WOYWW which means that time has come again to share with you my lonely neglected desk!Julia the wonderful WOYWW host over at the stamping ground won't be impressed with my lack of activity! Work commitments and resulting long shifts unfortunately has put paid to any card making since my day off last Thursday... I did finish the card from last Weeks desk on my day off. and almost finished the one on today's photo...it just needs putting together.
Since then the closest I’ve got to any craft room activity was tidying away (mmm...huge pile under my desk!)a pile of magazines last night that I had been looking through,I like to re-read them at night when watching TV; which is the only time me and hubby really spend any time together.
neglected desk!
Tidy work area waiting for action
On a more positive note its not all doom and gloom hubby has stepped up to the mark again and that's two weeks in a row that he has done all the food shopping and housework himself ( daughter helped with housework although he has played that down !) as well as cook some evening meals the last two weekends…and to give him credit he has done a sterling job…should let him do it all more often (not that he would agree!)Hopefully this weekend I will get my crafty fix that I’m so desperately missing. ..All work and no play makes for a miserable me. I hope your having much more crafty creative fun and when I get the opportunity I will come take a look...promise! Thanks for visiting ...hugs Andrea X.
That's a really pretty card on your nice and clean desk. Hopefully you will be to get some crafting done really soon. happy crafting #4

In an ever changing world at least your desk is a constant and it will stil lbe there for you when you're able to get back to it. It looks lovely and tidy and ready to go. I don't see why the hubs can't do a bit more cooking or housework personally! After all, he lives there too, lol! Thanks for the knitty love! I have a cowl pattern waiting to go, so you're spot on!

We too come together and watch tv in the early evening. And my other half is not against helping out around the house - sounds as if we have two good ones.
