WOYWW 231

Morning and  a very happy WOYWW to everyone ..what that its the weekly  blog hop of crafty creative workdesks or spaces around the world; hosted by the fabulous Julia ..so many people take part now it takes me a week to check them out:-) !!
Its  a short and sweet post this morning as I'm an early shift so off to work shortly.  As you can tell from my desk shot taken last night after work (my excuse for poor photo !) Christmas cards is once again in full swing after my short break. I posted my autumn card yesterday and still have a tag to post which I'm very very pleased with. Anyway back to the desk this weeks  Christmas  card is almost done, I'm just being indecisive about the flowers... do I  use die cut or paper roses?... decisions... decisions... I keep changing my mind!...Maybe I could ask you to vote and the highest number for whatever ones wins! ...well I hope you are having a good week and saw lots of fab fireworks last night alas I was working but heard them!...I will come  and visit, just might take me a few days with work etc to visit you have.I hope you have a good week ahead and thanks for dropping in...crafty hugs Andrea X

  2. Great desk Andrea , you seem to have everything right where you need it. I think the poinsettia flowers seem to look best from here as they are similar in shape to the image but I would use ones that are slightly faded than rich in color. You really do have one cool pin stand, is that a glass pin cushion? Also thanks for visiting my former post.

  4. Your desk looks full of beautiful crafting! What a busy life you have, but it's always lovely to drop by your work space. I know this sounds a bit strange, but I do like the look of those cool scissors; they look great to use! Julie Ann xx #43

  6. I vote for whatever is best for you - easier to post handmade flowers than bought ones? Whatever you choose I know the card will look special.

  10. Your card is looking just gorgeous! Maybe you could do the bulkier roses for cards you are giving out to people and use the flatter die cuts for the ones you are mailing? But both would be pretty. Happy WOYWW and thanks for visiting! ~ Laura #10

  11. Hi Andrea,

What a nice, busy desk. I don't own any flower dies so wouldn't have a clue. I've learned though, that it depends on if you are mailing or hand delivering them. I like the fabric roses - whatever you decide it will be perfect!

Thank you for visiting me already! I'm off today so will be having fun desk hopping.

    Happy WOYWW
    Peace,

  12. I love the poinsettias. And I love the roses. Can you do some of each so as not to offend either flower? You are good, making time to do such beautiful cards.

  13. Hello Andrea...it's Carole here...you asked if the bath was a die cut...no I sketched a simple shape...adhered and doubled the card stock then fussy cut...I worked it a bit with a stylus to give the edges shape. I love the crisp edges of a die cut...and I'm trying to be patient...waiting for my pointsettia dies. Be well Carole #72
