WOYWW 414

Goodness! the last time I linked up to Julia's, the queen of desker's and hostess of WOYWW was no 367, that's over 10 months ago ... It is a very happy Wednesday to all you WOYWWER's and I hope you are having a good week so far? I've got some appointments today and I hopefully will catch up with everyone(as many as I can) later.

This was the craft room last night I was working yesterday and managed to have some time in the evening to do some card making. I've been doing ATC'S for a swap I joined, the theme was Springtime in Paris. I can't share yet as swap not finished....sorry:-(

work in progress
As you can see there is a lot of bits and bobs around, the card I'm working on is the top pic with cute little bluebirds, it's from a Making Cards magazine I have every edition, it's a great magazine...and that's a lot of toppers and papers collected.

Below is the table to the left of my main work area with some stamped images I've coloured and a pile of papers. I'm always in need of simple thank you cards etc, and usually don't have any prepared... so I've changed that, I'm waiting to decide what to do next..not sure what to do.

I usually spend ages choosing papers etc.I t takes me longer choosing what I might use than it does making a card !!

Thank you for popping in and I hope to be back again soon with the next batch of finished cards and some ATC'S.Happy crafting hugs Andrea x

  2. Springtime in Paris sounds a lovely theme, wouldn't mind being there either.
Love the aqua look on your desk this morning, now trying to work out what the machine is?

  3. First thing I notices was the turquoise bluey tone of your desk. Always good to have some blank small cards for thankyous etc. Know what you mean about choosing papers and bits and bobs for cards it does take longer than making the card sometimes. Anickoana

  5. I do so understand the whole 'taking longer to choose the papers' rather than actually making the artwork lol

    Have a wonderful Wednesday!

  6. I know the feeling of taking longer to choose stuff than to actually complete a project. Good idea to have toppers ready and coloured if a quick card is needed. Sarah #25

  9. 10 months! Crikey, if you'd asked, I would have said a handful of weeks! Blimey! Your desk looks lovely - all beautifully prepared and colour wise. We are uqite the opposite in modus operandi...I choose easily, but then have the devil's job making it work!!

  10. Hi Andrea, and welcome back. I love the topper with the bluetits on your desk - the colours are lovely. I find it easy to choose the papers, etc., it's the making up that takes so much longer. Have a great week. elizabeth x #11

  11. It's lovely to see you Andrea, I'm pleased to hear that you have been crafting even if you don't have time to blog.
The card you are working on at the moment looks fabulous, I love the free papers and toppers that are always included with Making Cards Magazine, you must have quite a collection.
Hope to see you again soon.

  13. I can't believe it's so long sine you were last here, where does the time go! I think the hardest part of making cards is deciding what and how to do it. Have a great crafty week and happy woyww, Angela x16x

  14. So great to see you and your lovely work space, Andrea! I know what you mean about choosing the "clothes" your image is going to wear, haha! I think that's why those little 6 x 6 paper pads are so popular with all the colors and patterns already coordinated for us! Hope to see you back soon!! Big hugs, Darnell
