Christmas Cards -The most Wonderful Time of the Year

Morning I'm doing well this week, work has been ok, I've had the weekend off and this is my second post this week...lets hope I get to keep it up.Today its my first christmas card.I love christmas it's my favourite time of  the year by far, and I start my countdown from about the end of August much to my family and friends horror; if I had my way I'd start earlier! I now have 3 completed cards and another almost finished...the plan is too make at least 2 per week and I  should have enough by christmas for everyone...that the plan anyway! It worked last year although I did start earlier and didn't give everyone a handmade card...it was my first year of card making and I wasn't confident about family and friends reactions to a handmade card...but I got some lovely comments from followers and friends online and now its I put a lot of  time, love and effort into each and every card I make and if the recipient doesn't appreciate that then I'm stumped!...so far no one has made a negative comment..not to my face anyway!

'Believe'

I bought quite a few new christmas goodies over the last few weeks that I just couldn't resist, today I've used Spellbinder and Heartfelt Creations christmas stamps and die sets; there are some gorgeous stamps in the set and I can see me using it to make many of my cards this year, For this card I used bird from the christmas song set stamp and embossed one of the greetings from the bright christmas set  as well as the holly berry which is from the ornamental add on die set and some die cut roses.I went to town with the glitter to add some christmas sparkle;unfortunately the photos haven't picked this up too well. It's not my usual style of card; but I can see me making many more cards from these stamp sets...I hope you like them too?

  1. Gorgeous card! Really love the colour combo!

To me Christmas does not exist until December. Our tree doesn't go up until the 11th (daughter's birthday on the 10th, which we want to keep the focus of the day!) and I *hate* with a passion seeing christmas decorations and such in the shops the day after halloween!

Having said that, I've already started making Christmas cards. But I'll probably be done by the end of october and can then ignore the event for another month, lol.

I'm very happy that you take part at the Cards and More Challenge. To participate in the draw of the prize and the Top 3, you have to follow the challenge rules. Unfortunately, you have linked more than 5 challenges and can not take part in the draw this time. I am so sorry. I would be delighted if you join in again next time :-)
