Good morning and a very happy WOYWW. I didn't expect to make it this morning as last night I was unwell. I had been feeling out of sorts all day and whilst I was making a "quick card "for a friend who was taken into hospital yesterday I began to feel quite nauseous... that was it the next 3 hours was spent vomiting with severe stomach pains and generally not feeling well... the card as you can see is not finished but nearly there!...I dont know what caused my problem but thankfully this morning other than some stomach pains I feel ok...which is good as I need to go to work as there is no one else to cover the early start so I'm pleased I feel better!

On to more a positive subject a big thank you to everyone who wished us well for our wedding anniversary at the weekend...we had a lovely weekend together ;I was off work and no stress so was perfect...the card I made will l be posted when I get around to taking photos...A big thank you thanks goes to Darnell her wonderful ribbon card last week was my inspiration. The desk today show some action!...the "quick card "I was making last night and a thank you card that just needs finishing off...I've been playing around with the layout and embellishments and its now ready (I think) to be finished...nothing as yet is actually attached!...I still have a pile of stamps that I finished colouring in the corner and some card blanks to put away.Hop over to the host Julia at the Stamping Ground to check out some great crafty workdesks and spaces and maybe even take part yourself .I hope to catch up with you later after work.... have a great day and week ahead crafty hugs Andrea x

Hi Andrea,
ReplyDeleteOh, I hope you are feeling better. Sometimes it's best to just get whatever it is out of your system. The beginnings of your card looks very nice. I like the stack of doilies shown on your desk. I saw a die a few weekends ago and now I'm wondering about it.....
Thank you for visiting me already!
Happy WOYWW
Peace, Kay (3)
Hi Andrea, sorry you felt so rotten- its awful how fast these bugs can strike, isn't it? Love all the stuff on your desk today, your coloured images are gorgeous. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #33
ReplyDeleteHi Andrea sorry to hear you've been poorly. Thanks for the earlier visit - that's really so kind of you considering you've been feeling under the weather. Happy anniversary for last weekend! Ours is coming up on Jan 31st - 27 years. Hmmmn, yes, I've got loads of sheets of Ez Mount now that I'm worried about using! I'm kind of meditating on it. It's awful to waste money, isn't it? I really like the look of the card you were working on. Julie Ann xx#54
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you were so poorly, not nice there are a lot of bugs about .... Hope you get to Finnish the card soon

Ugh Andrea, poor you. Being sick is just the worst...but...if it's bad in your tummy, it's far better after, huh! Glad you're up to going to work, bet you feel a bit washed out by now though. Those floral embellishments are sweet - are they brads?
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a lovely weekend but so sorry to hear you are sick. You could have done with a long sleep in instead of going to work, hope you are much better now.
ReplyDeleteUsing the iPad so I can keep my feet elevated and it jams now Nd then so I didn't get to finish off above. Did type that I liked your card for your friend and I hope you got it finished.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Neet xx
Andrea, thanks for dropping by my blog and leaving such encouraging words. Thanks too for praying. I pray that your tummy upset won't recur and that you now feel much better. I hope you get that lovely card finished, and can enjoy your crafting. Kind regards, John W #78

Sorry to hear that you weren't feeling well. Being nauseated is one of the worst feelings ever! It sounds like you are on the mend now so that's good. Your desk is filled with lots of lovely projects. It looks like a fun place to play. I like your color coded little boxes. Thanks for the visit earlier. I will use my rejected House Mouse on some other card. It isn't so much that I didn't like the purple under his feet but that it didn't go with the card I wanted it for (on my blog today).
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty neat desk. Thank you for visiting. Karen #36
ReplyDeleteYour desk is beautifully tidy and I can now say the same after spending all week tidying my craft room! Thanks for visiting me, Susan x
ReplyDeleteWow Andrea, you really have a organized craft space. Looks like lots of beautiful projects are being created.
ReplyDeleteHugs Diane
Oh, poor Andrea, I'm sorry you got a touch of food poisoning or a quick virus. That's the worst feeling. I hope you were able to work okay. Your desk looks fab, as always! Those cards are coming along wonderfully!
ReplyDeleteI'm happy to hear you had a wonderful anniversary! I'm also glad to hear you did use my ribbon card as your inspiration! I can't wait to see what you made!
I didn't play today at WOYWW coz I came down with a nasty cold and am not up to all the visits, but something drew me here today ... maybe my ears were burning because you were talking about me! LOL! Thanks for the shout out, take care, and have a wonderful week!! Hugs, Darnell
