A very happy WOYWW to everyone, it’s Wednesday again that day
when we get to nosey look at everyone’s creative crafty workdesks and
spaces around the globe. Hop over to the Stamping Ground, Julia the host will
make you most welcome and there’s some fab sites you will not want to miss visiting.
I have been busy with
work and haven’t been around much the last few weeks, sorry that I also haven’t
been visiting my regular favourite blogs recently either...I will be back to
normal soon (I hope) I am still managing to make the odd car here and there
and have made a few special birthday cards which I will post soon and the simple baby
card below.
My desk isn’t too exciting this
week as you can see in the pics taken yesterday before work there’s some magazine freebies to put away and a pile of scrap papers to sort. I had planned to do more scrapbooking this year...so far it hasnt gone to plan and theres a pile of photos that I plan to start with...so far I have finshed one scrap page in two years!... so progress is slow to say the least! I’ve also been
doing some colouring with the cute Tatty Twinkle stamps,I don’t have any
particular card in mind but I do enjoy colouring them and its something I can dip in and out of when I don't have much time. I have just finished and sent
a baby card for one of my hubbys work colleagues, I kept the designs simple and
decided to send the cute stork one above so I now I also have a spare card for the
next baby girl that arrives(hiding in pile of scraps on desk), as usual I couldn’t resist using a button or two!
waiting for action !
bits 'n' bobs too sort and put away
Work is taking up too much of my time too! Your card is very cute too.

You don't see that very often, a white desk that is still white. I am looking around at mine in shame!

Hello Andrea. Lovely card there on your desk today. Well done. There's no rush - it often takes me 'til the next Tuesday to visit folk - and I VERY rarely get around everyone. I'm retired, so am not out at work - but still don't have time for that.
ReplyDeleteTake care. God bless.

Hi Andrea, I missed last week too because of work- irritating when life gets in the way of fun, isn't it? Love the baby card, Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz xx #19
ReplyDeleteThis is a fabulous baby card Andrea, I love your CAS design.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like your scrapbooking is about as productive as mine - I have loads of photographs of hubby and the boys, but it takes me so long to finish a layout and they usually end up looking like a large card!

Thanks for sharing you desk with us. The card is so cute.
ReplyDeleteHi Andrea, loving your card designs. Work can be such a spoil-sport when you want to craft but that's life Lol! Still, it does pay for all the lovely new craft stuff.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week and happy crafting, Angela x #41
At least you are getting some cards made, it is always hard when you have to balance work and play with the necessity to create. Have a wonderful week and happy WOYWW

Cool card! Love the textured cardstock you've used. We can't get anything like that here in the States. I have to second and third and....a white desk! Still white?! Hugs and Happy WOYWW! Nan G #76 a bit late

I can totally relate to being behind on the scrapbooking. I have a stack of photos that I am going to scrap Project Life style. That is one thing I plan on doing this weekend. The stork card is adorable. :-)

Love your stork card! I really enjoy having some projects on hand that I can just do with the spare minute. Happy Belated WOYWW! #65
ReplyDeleteHow's this for a late visit, ha?! I've been gone (for those who don't know) and trying to catch up on my visits to my favorite blogs. I absolutely adore this baby card, Andrea! That buttoned bow is spectacular!! Great busy desk, too. I think it's fab that you get in some coloring when you can. Those images will always be there, even after you retire, and think how easy it will be to pop a card together in the future!! Hugs, Darnell
