A very good morning to you and a happy WOYWW its great to be back after being missing in action for what feels like forever. I have a rare weekday off and as I've been early starts and late finishes at work for weeks I couldnt miss the oppurtunity to take part in WOYWW; The fabulous weekly blog hop of crafty workdesks and spaces. Go visit the wonderful host Julia at The Stamping Ground ... you won't be dissapointed.I have been working on a thankyou card the last few days on and off whenever I get some time. I have kept it quite simple using a panel from the Heartfelt Creations Arriana Blooms paper pack as the background layers are all completed and the work is done for you.I stamped and coloured one of the smaller pretty flowers stamps and I'm nearly there.
flower production in action
lots of pink
I just have to finish making some flowers(I think I have too many!) and put it all together...I can't resist a bit of glitter and sparkle ...its a very pink and girly creation and is a Thank You card for one of hubbys colleagues. I havent been up to much other than work of late and have missed visiting my favourite blogs hopefully work is finally settling down and I can get back to some sort of normality. Next weekend I finish work and go on holiday for a week....I cant wait although its a mixed blessing as my daughter moves away the same weekend we leave for our holiday and won't be here when I get back which will be very strange indeed...bad planning!. I hope you are having a good week whatever youve been up too. Thanks for visiting... it's good to be back and I will hopefully get around to visiting everyone today.
Big crafty hugs Andrea X

Happy WOYWW Andrea, I love your pink card and the flowers are looking super. Have a great break, cheers RobynO#29
ReplyDeleteA lovely card, Andrea. The colours are so very gentle - beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting already. Yes, life has been a tad manic here recently. The answer is YES - you will get to see the dresses as soon as the ceremonies are over. The first one here in Wales - and the one which doesn't yet have a finished dress - is Aug 23rd. The Romanian ceremony is Sep 6th. I shall post pictures the Wednesdays after each ceremony. Unfortunately, co's of the fact we have no passports - not to mention John's lack of good health - we are not going to be present at the Romanian wedding service, but about 30 of our church are going - and I have given them all strict instructions I want photos e-mailed over as soon as they are back in their hotel!!!!! You'll see them!
Take care. God bless.

Cor life sounds pretty hectic - make the most and hope you find some time to relax on your day off! Might be less emotional a moving day for you and your daughter if you're away on your hols...could turn out to be quite good timing! Pretty card Andrea, and the flowers are gorgeous, aren't you patient!
ReplyDeleteFabulous card and flowers! So pretty! Happy WOYWW and welcome back. I tend to be here and gone and back again. ~Sandy in Texas #67
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, Andrea! You are so patient to work with and make those sweet little flowers! I'm glad to see you back! I guess I had your travel plans mixed up as I thought you trip was last week and that's when the move was happening. It's why I held off answering your email. I'm losing it! Sorry I got that mixed up! I hope you have a wonderful holiday and you have brilliant weather for the show!! Hugs, Darnell (not WOYWWing today)
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to see you Andrea, I had been wondering if you were OK.
ReplyDeleteYour nearly completed card looks lovely and your flowers look pretty, it's better to have too many rather that not enough.
I hope you have a lovely holiday - it certainly sounds like you deserve one.
Take care.

Hi Andrea, love the flowers. I also always end up making too many, but I tell myself they'll make for a quick embellishment next time I need them. Then find I haven't got the right colours, lol. Have a great week, Hugs, Shax #6 xxx
